MLM Network Marketing Success: Brand Yourself

Every network marketing business that wants to be followed and recognized as a network marketing leader in their industry eventually thinks about “branding” themselves.  If you are in network marketing, why not brand yourself and be recognized visually, or by a logo?

For those of you old enough to remember these great commercial slogans, fill in the blanks:

  •  Stronger than dirt, new _______________________is stronger than dirt!  (Ajax Laundry Detergent)
  • Plop, plop, fizz, fizz ________________________  (Alka Seltzer)
  • There’s always room for ___________________   (Jell-O Gelatin)
  • Good to the last ________________  (Maxwell House Coffee)
  • Betcha’ can’t eat just _____________  (Lay’s Potato chips)
  • What happens in Vegas __________________ (city of Las Vegas)
  • Rice a Roni, the _______________________ treat  (Rice-a-Roni)

So, how do you choose something to be associated with – to get “branded”?  Do you use your own name, or a “made up” name?  Well, here is what happened to mlmwildfire and how we are still in the process of creating our brand.

A brief history – we (Bruce and Melody) were involved in Amway years ago – you can see our story on how met (really a shot in a million!) and ended up with an Internet network marketing business here: Bruce & Melody.

When we decided to be serious about growing our network marketing business on the Internet, we decided to look for something that represented a unique network marketing  name, not our own names.  So we thought, researched, just tossed around network marketing business names and we hit on wildfire because of the mental imagery it projects:  hot, fast moving, burns bright – things an attributes we certainly would want our network marketing business to be and be thought of in that manner!  What sealed the deal for that name was that we found “mlmwildfire” was available as a domain, so we jumped on it, and voila’ mlmwildfire.com was created.

After searching for a visual image of “wildfire”, we settled on this:

Wildfire_banner_Jing

We first used this banner on our You Tube Channel for our videos.

Visual action in branding was something we wanted and as we have well over 80 videos on the business, we wanted a brief video “opening” that also would capture the concept of Wildfire, and again, after searching and looking and pricing alternatives, we have developed this great opening network marketing business video, plus a “sub-title” of …well, you’ll see it on the video:

We also wanted something that was fun (hey, if you aren’t having fun in your network marketing business, don’t be so serious – have some fun!), so after a bit more searching on the Internet, we found this unique way to promote our network marketing business..

Now, let me ask you, if you think of wildfire and it is associated with mult-level marketing, what comes to mind?  (Hint:  mlmwildfire.com).

It is a work in process, and we know that over time, we’ll get more network marketing business specific branding developed, but theWildfire brand is something that we can build on and make successful because we really enjoy helping others and as the name suggests – we move fast, we burn bright, and are HOT in our efforts to get network marketing success.

You can do the same!  This is what we do at Wildfire – we train and help other network marketing business owners with their network marketing business because network marketing is infinitely huge and there are fortunes that can be pulled by everyone!
